HoroscopeDoc: AI astrology web app with subscriptions
A subscription web application: user accounts, AI-generated readings, recurring payments and an admin panel. Built and hosted by us.
What it is
HoroscopeDoc is a consumer web application, not a brochure site. Visitors create an account, enter their details, and receive personalized readings generated by an AI model. Recurring subscriptions unlock daily and monthly content and premium features. The whole product runs on our custom stack and is hosted on our managed servers.
What we built
Accounts and authentication. Sign-up, email verification, password reset, session management, and a profile where users manage their preferences and subscription.
AI-generated readings. A generation pipeline that builds a structured prompt from the user's profile, calls the model, checks the output for format and length, and stores the result so the same reading is never regenerated twice. Readings are rendered as clean, readable pages with schema markup for the public ones.
Subscriptions and payments. Recurring billing with plan management, upgrades and downgrades, dunning for failed payments, and invoices. Webhooks keep the app's view of a subscription in sync with the payment processor.
Email. Transactional email for account events and a daily notification for subscribers, with unsubscribe handling and delivery logging.
Admin panel. Users, subscriptions, generated content, prompt templates and site settings, all editable by non-technical staff. The team can adjust prompt wording and see the effect without a developer.
Public pages and SEO. Landing pages, explainer content and public readings are built for search: fast, structured data in place, sitemap generated from the database, and llms.txt for AI crawlers.
Stack
Node.js and Express on the server, MySQL for data, a custom lightweight front end, and a queue for generation jobs so the interface stays fast when the model is slow. Nightly backups, SSL, security monitoring and uptime alerts are part of the maintenance plan.
Why it matters if you need a website
Most businesses need something simpler than this, and it is priced accordingly at $1,500. The point of showing it is that the same team that builds a five-page site for a plumber also builds accounts, payments and AI features when the project needs them, on the same reliable stack, with the same admin-panel philosophy: only the buttons you need.

Custom-coded on Node.js with no page builder and no plugins. The design is made for your business rather than adapted from a template, and it works on the phone first, because that is where most of your customers arrive. Every page loads in under a second, even with large photos, because images are optimized on upload and the code loads nothing the page does not use.
Your own admin panel
You log in, click the page, edit the text or swap the image, and save. Services, team, testimonials, FAQs and blog posts are simple forms. There are no updates to install and nothing to break. If you need a richer workflow we build it, but most owners want exactly this.
Technical SEO from day one
Clean semantic HTML, titles and descriptions per page, structured data for your business type, a sitemap, canonical tags, llms.txt for AI crawlers, and Search Console connected on launch day. If you take SEO or Local SEO with us later, the foundation is already there.
Forms and bookings, connected
Forms land in your inbox or your CRM instantly, with a confirmation to the customer and bot protection built in. Bookings can connect to your scheduling system. Nothing sits in an inbox nobody checks.
Maintenance, $200 a month
Hosting on servers we manage, nightly off-site backups, SSL, security monitoring and patching, updates, uptime monitoring and up to an hour of content edits a month. If something breaks at two in the morning, it is our problem. The code and content are yours; if you leave, you get a full export.
Price and timeline
A business website is $1,500 flat, whether you give us the direction or we write and design it for you. Two to four weeks. Larger projects (e-commerce, portals, applications, integrations, multiple languages) are quoted individually. Payment is fifty percent at kickoff and fifty at launch; maintenance starts at launch.
