The situation

A well-known Orlando bakery and café brand with nine franchise locations across the metro. Each store competes in its own neighborhood for breakfast, coffee, lunch and catering searches, and the brand competes across the whole city for its name and its signature products. The client asked us not to publish their name; the work below is real and the numbers are in their own reporting.

What we did

Profile optimization for every store. Categories, attributes (breakfast, outdoor seating, catering), menu items, service options and descriptions rewritten per location for the searches that location actually wins. Directions-spam and near-me keyword contamination in the review and Q&A footprint identified and cleaned for the affected stores.

Breakfast keyword grid strategy. For the location with the strongest breakfast demand, we mapped the neighborhood grid, identified the streets where the store was not appearing for breakfast searches, and built content and profile changes targeted at those cells.

Google Ads per location. Performance Max asset groups built per store (for example, a "Breakfast" asset group for one location), with the client's own branded creative rather than auto-pulled profile photos, so the Maps ads look like the brand.

Backlink and anchor cleanup. Analysis of the anchor-text profile showed brand over-saturation and injected "near me" anchors. We set a monthly article plan with specific anchor and URL pairs to rebalance it.

A store locator that sells. The WordPress store locator was customized with a catering call-to-action on every location card, so the highest-margin service is one tap away from the map.

Monthly reporting the franchisees can read. Branded decks per period in the client's own palette, with the numbers each store owner cares about: map visibility, calls, direction requests, website clicks and ad results for their store.

Why it matters

Multi-location food businesses lose to single-location competitors in each neighborhood unless every store is treated as its own local business. That is what this program does, and it is the model behind our Franchise SEO pricing.

The per-store profile work, in detail

Each of the nine stores got its own audit against the businesses ranking around it. Primary and secondary categories were set per store based on what wins in that neighborhood (a store next to office parks emphasizes breakfast and catering; one near a residential area emphasizes weekend brunch and cakes). Attributes such as outdoor seating, breakfast, delivery and catering were completed. Menu items were added with prices and photos. Descriptions were rewritten per store to name the neighborhood and the occasions that store actually serves. Q&A was seeded with the questions customers ask about parking, kid-friendliness and large orders.

The breakfast grid

For the store with the strongest breakfast demand, we laid a rank grid over its neighborhood for breakfast searches and found the store appearing strongly on one side of a major road and weakly on the other. The fix was a combination of profile changes (breakfast attributes and menu emphasis), content on the store's location page about breakfast for the neighborhoods on the weak side, and photos of breakfast items taken and uploaded regularly. The grid is re-run monthly and the weak side has filled in.

Advertising per store

Rather than one Performance Max campaign for the brand, each store has its own asset groups (for example, a "Breakfast" asset group for one location and a "Catering" group for another), geo-targeted to that store's actual draw. The client's own branded creative is used so Maps placements look like the brand rather than showing whichever photo Google pulls from the profile. Results are reported per store so franchisees see their own numbers.

Anchor text and link hygiene

Analysis of the sites linking to the brand showed over-saturation of exact brand anchors and injected "near me" anchors, along with some directions-spam contamination affecting three stores. A monthly article plan with specific anchor-and-URL pairs was set to rebalance the profile naturally, and the contaminated signals were cleaned.

The store locator

The store locator on the brand website was customized so every location card carries a catering call-to-action, moving the highest-margin service to one tap from the map. Small change, meaningful effect on catering inquiries.

Reporting franchisees can read

Franchisees do not want an analytics dashboard. Each period they get a short branded deck in the brand's own colors with the numbers they care about for their store: map visibility, calls, direction requests, website clicks, and ad results. Head office gets the roll-up.

Why the name is withheld

The client asked us not to publish their name, and we respect that; the description above is accurate and the numbers are in their own reporting. If you want to speak to them, ask on a call and we will request an introduction.

How results like this happen

None of the cases in this section came from a trick. They all follow the same process: an honest diagnosis of the Google profile, the website, citations, reviews and technical health; fixing what is broken before building anything new; pages written for what real customers in that city search; authority earned from real publications; and a monthly report with a rank grid that shows where you are winning and where you are not.

The timeline is the same too. Month one is diagnosis and repair. Month two is structure and content. Month three is where the first real movement shows, which is why every monthly plan has a three-month initial term and then continues month to month.

What we do not do is constant as well: we do not buy links, we do not publish city-swapped pages, we do not invent clients or numbers, and we do not promise positions. Every figure we publish comes from the client's own reporting, and when a client asks to stay anonymous, we say so.
